Deadline: 21-January-2026
Proposed activities under the Mobilize Grant must advance knowledge mobilization by promoting the use of health research and evidence in practice and decision-making, integrating relevant knowledge such as lived or traditional experiences into research, and involving non-academic participants in knowledge sharing.
The open call welcomes applications in any area of human health, with dedicated year-round funding available for projects partnering with Indigenous peoples to promote health, healing, and reconciliation.
The Mobilize Grant provides up to $10,000 in funding for a one-year term, supporting projects that enhance the translation of health research into action. No matching funds are required, and each Principal Applicant may submit only one application per competition.
The grant encourages innovative approaches to mobilizing health knowledge and supports community engagement in research processes that improve health outcomes across Saskatchewan.
Eligibility criteria require that the Principal Applicant reside and work in Saskatchewan during the funding period and hold a position that allows them to promote evidence-based health knowledge and practices on behalf of their organization for public benefit.
Applicants must not be trainees in relation to the proposed project and must agree to adhere to all Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF) funding policies and reporting requirements. Successful applicants are required to sign a Notice of Acceptance before the release of funds.
Eligible organizations include post-secondary institutions with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SHRF, registered charities, and non-profit organizations. Organizations that do not have an MOU must provide details such as their banking information, CRA registration number, and financial office contact to demonstrate their capacity to manage the grant responsibly.
While there are no additional project team requirements, applicants must demonstrate engagement or a strong potential to engage knowledge-users and target audiences in their proposed activities. Supporting partners are required to provide a letter of support to be uploaded with the application, but no CVs or contribution forms are needed for submission.
