Deadline: 31-Oct-2025
The Ideation Hub Africa (IHA) has announced the launch of the African Masterclass Series (AMS 5.0), a transformative fellowship program designed to empower the next generation of African changemakers.
This 12-week virtual learning and incubation experience offers social innovators, nonprofit leaders, and development practitioners the tools, mentorship, and community needed to turn powerful ideas into sustainable, scalable impact.
Across the continent, many emerging changemakers face a shared challenge — the gap between vision and execution. While passion and creativity abound, the lack of structure, resources, and strategy often keeps brilliant ideas from reaching the communities that need them most. AMS 5.0 seeks to bridge this gap by providing participants with practical frameworks to move from concept to action, equipping them with entrepreneurial, leadership, and innovation skill sets.
Over the course of the program, participants will engage in expert-led sessions, peer collaboration, and personalized mentorship. They will gain clarity on how to refine their ideas, validate community needs, and build models that are both viable and impactful. The curriculum is designed to help participants craft locally relevant solutions in key sectors such as education, health, technology, agriculture, gender equity, and economic empowerment.
This edition of AMS places strong emphasis on contextual innovation — helping changemakers design solutions rooted in the realities of their communities. Fellows will also learn to raise funds, leverage digital tools, and build sustainable programs that can scale across borders. By combining strategic training with a vibrant support network, AMS 5.0 nurtures a new wave of socially conscious leaders ready to drive systemic change across Africa.
The fellowship is open to social entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, nonprofit professionals, policy advocates, and community innovators who are committed to tackling Africa’s most pressing challenges. Whether applicants are launching new initiatives or seeking to scale existing projects, AMS provides the structure, mentorship, and momentum to accelerate their journey.
With a goal to equip 5,000 changemakers across Africa, Ideation Hub Africa continues its mission to foster bold, community-rooted leadership and empower purpose-driven individuals to transform their ideas into impact.
