Deadline: 28-November-2025
This fund is designed to support organisations that place the voices, ambitions, and creativity of young Disabled people at the heart of their work, going beyond music to embrace all creative disciplines.
Eligible organisations are those that already work with Disabled people across all areas of their operations—as participants, volunteers, freelancers, and staff—and have built strong trust with the communities they serve. Applicants should actively advocate for the rights of Disabled people, operate according to the social model of disability, and prioritise inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in all aspects of their work. Projects must be co-created with young Disabled people, embedding their perspectives and ambitions in meaningful ways.
The fund is particularly suited to organisations that are ambitious and innovative, seeking to push the boundaries of creative practice while prioritising wellbeing and safety for participants and staff. Applicants should demonstrate strong partnerships, a willingness to reflect on and develop their practice, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
The fund is not open to individuals, new organisations, or organisations based in Scotland or Wales. It is also not intended for one-off or short-term projects, schools or nurseries as lead applicants, or organisations without an established track record of creative work with Disabled young people. Organisations must have participatory structures in place and a core focus on empowering young Disabled people through creative opportunities.
This funding offers a chance for experienced and committed organisations to make a real difference, amplifying young Disabled voices and creating transformative, inclusive creative experiences that challenge norms and champion equity.
