The Wonderful Company is seeking applications for its Central Valley Community Grants.
Now, more than ever, The Wonderful Company is focused on the health and well-being of Central Valley communities. In the past 6 years, Wonderful Community grants has directly funded $4 million dollars across 57 non-profits and 165 schools in the San Joaquin Valley. This year, they will be funding $1 million in grants to schools and non-profit organizations.
Funding Information
- $1,000–$50,000 grants, awarded until funds are exhausted;
- Up to four $100,000 grants, awarded funds to be used over two years.
Geographic Focus
Organizations must demonstrate impact in one or more of the following communities:
- Kern County: Delano, Wasco, Shafter;
- Kings County: Avenal;
- Fresno County: Sanger, Del Rey, Firebaugh, Mendota.
Grant Criteria
- Wonderful Community Grants will support game-changing work across all program areas, and they especially encourage initiatives that support:
- Health and wellness
- Community beautification
- Supporting families
- COVID-19 recovery
- Successful applicants will demonstrate community need and yield tangible and visible results. Funds are available for program development/expansion, innovation, technology and equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrate a commitment to making the rural communities of the San Joaquin Valley in California a more equitable place to live, work, and play;
- Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
