Applications are now open for the 2021-22 Environmental and Green Technology Small Grant Program to increase public awareness and understanding of the importance of caring for the environment and to encourage the use of green technology in the daily lives of the people of Selangor.
Assist communities in organizations and associations to access funding for innovation projects related to initiatives to implement or improve water conservation, waste management, energy conservation or tree planting.
Themes
Application for Small Film Grant Program Around and Green Technology should follow the following themes:
- Environment
- Environmental education
- River Cleaning
- Tree planting
- Waste Recycling
- Green technology
- Carbon Free Cycling Program
- Community Awareness Program on Climate Change
- Installation of Green Technology Related Products
- E-Waste Collection Campaign And Awareness
Funding Information
- Environment: RM10 Thousand
- Green technology: RM20 Thousand
The following applications will NOT be considered:
- Programs/ projects that have received full funding from other organizations.
- Funding to cover the administrative costs of the association (building rent, utility bills, employee salaries, travel costs).
- Purchase of electronic equipment such as mobile phones, laptops and others that do not contribute to the implementation of the program.
- Political programs/projects, fundraising and promoting cigarettes, alcohol, drugs and gambling activities.
- Funding to individuals to cover the cost of travel to attend courses and conferences.
- Programs/projects implemented outside the State of Selangor
- Programs/projects that are/have been implemented before the grant is approved.
Eligibility Criteria
- Non -profit organizations or associations.
- Registered and based in the State of Selangor.
- Implementation of programs/projects in the State of Selangor.
- For Organizations/Associations not based in the State of Selangor, the application will be considered if the program/project is unique and has specific benefits to the people of the State of Selangor and does not conflict with project applications from organizations/Community Associations based in the State of Selangor.
