Applications are now open for the Coca‑Cola Thank You Fund that will help to nurture a generation of change champions who will help to shape, create and maintain sustainable communities for the benefit of all.
The Fund will focus on one overall theme – Investing in Sustainable Communities – enabling everyone to live in a community where economic and environmental sustainability as well as social equity is at its heart.
In 2022, Coca‑Cola will donate a further €100,000 to youth-orientated non-profit groups committed to support young people to build sustainable communities.
Categories
Entries must seek to support young people under one or more of the following three categories:
- Education: Educational, Training, Resilience, entrepreneurship programmes for young people
- Diversity & Inclusion: Programmes that support Diversity & Inclusivity and social equity among young people
- Care for the Environment: Programmes that encourage and support young people to care for and protect the environment
Funding Information
The Fund’s application form facilitates entrants in selecting which funding amount is most suitable for their project – €5,000 or €10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entry is open to not-for-profit youth-focused organisations.
- This money will be granted to not-for-profit voluntary and charitable organisations operating within communities throughout the island of Ireland.
- In order to be eligible, your organisation must fulfil all of the following criteria:
- The organisation must be a not-for-profit, voluntary and/ or charitable organisation classified under one or more of the following headings:
- Charitable organisation with a registered charity number working within a community
- Voluntary organisation working within a community
- Not-for-profit community organisation
- A foundation or a trust for the benefit of a community.
- The organisation must submit details of a proposal which it will put in place if successful, which demonstrates targeted supports that help young people (16- 25 years) navigate and plan a future in a post pandemic world.
- The organisation must have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months prior to the date of submission of this application.
- Proof of organisation’s operations must be made available to Coca‑Cola Ireland if requested.
- Any individual applying on behalf of an organisation must be aged 18 years or older.
- The proposed project must exclusively benefit people aged over sixteen years of age and under twenty-five, and activities using money received from the Fund must be based on the island of Ireland.
- Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate the innovative nature of the proposal.
- The organisation must be a not-for-profit, voluntary and/ or charitable organisation classified under one or more of the following headings:
- Applications will not be considered from the following:
- Individuals
- An organisation that discriminates based on race, gender, marital status, family status, religion, sexual orientation, membership of the travelling community, age or disability
- Religious endeavours
- Political, legislative or lobbying organisations
- An organisation whose proposal is to:
- make a movie, film or television documentary.
- hold a concert or other entertainment event.
- promote travel or an organised field trip.
- or promote a high-risk activity including but not limited to parachuting or bungee jumping,
- to benefit youths aged under 16 or adults over the age of twenty-five.
- to benefit schools, afterschool clubs or Montessori schools
- run activities or programmes based in schools, or in partnership with schools.
