The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts is accepting applications for its Racial Equity Grant Program is focused on promoting more just, equitable and compassionate communities in North Central Massachusetts by providing grants to nonprofit organizations working to advance racial equity and social justice.
The 2022 North Central Massachusetts Racial Equity Grant Program is made possible by the Klarman Family Foundation, Rollstone Bank & Trust, Enterprise Bank, Fidelity Bank & Trust, and the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts.
Objective
- Advancing racial justice and equity by providing grants to nonprofit organizations that work to serve and empower communities of color and address systemic and institutional racism.

- Youth empowerment
- Social justice
- Awareness, education, and training around implicit and explicit racial bias in employment, services, and community engagement
- Innovation programs or approaches that serve and empower communities of color and address systemic and institutional racism
Funding Information
- For the 2022 grant program, grant sizes will be between $2,000 and $10,000.
- One way this is by awarding grants to programs, projects, and initiatives within 33-community region.
- These competitive grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations whose programs, projects or initiatives address the grant program’s objectives and align with the funding guidance.
