The Mental Health Research Canada (MHRC) is seeking applications for its Youth Mental Health, Substance Use and Addictions Impact Grant to advance evidence-based, innovative solutions across the continuum of care to improve timely access to care to address the impact of substance use and addictions issues faced by young people and families in Ontario.
Funding Information
- Amount: grants of up to $100,000 each
- The term of the grant is 12 to 18 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for this grant, the applicants leading the project must be co-principal investigators who are permanent residents or Canadian citizens based in Ontario, and who are supported by a team.

The co-principal investigators must be:
- A researcher/academic
- A leader or member of one of Ontario’s lead or core service providing agencies (those who receive funding from the Ministry of Health for children’s mental health and addictions programming – if you are unsure if your agency are eligible.
