Applicants are invited for the ”la Caixa” Foundation’s 2022 Social Call in Extremadura program.
The goal of this call is to collaborate with non-profit organisations that are working on projects in Extremadura to promote initiative that are specifically aimed at people who are in vulnerable social situations in order to give them better quality of life and promote equal opportunities.
Objectives
- The main objective of the call is to facilitate support for projects related to the promotion of personal autonomy, care for ageing, disability and illness; care for children, youth and their families, as well as people in a situation of social exclusion.
- It also wants to promote actions for socio-labour insertion, the prevention of violence and addictions, as well as promoting intercultural citizen coexistence and social cohesion.
Priorities
- Elderly people and challenges derived from aging
- Promotion of personal autonomy and prevention of frailty and its effects.
- Prevention and intervention in situations of unwanted loneliness and social and digital isolation, from a personal, social and community perspective
- Detection and intervention in situations of economic vulnerability
- Detection and intervention in situations of mistreatment of the elderly
- People with disabilities or mental disorders
- Promotion of personal autonomy and support for activities of daily living
- Psychosocial support for people with disabilities or mental disorders, taking into account their family and relational environment
- Temporary residential resources for people with disabilities or mental disorders
- Universal accessibility and actions to combat the digital divide
- Humanization of health
- Socio-health care and psychosocial support for people in a situation of illness, in palliative or end-of-life care, to improve your quality of life and that of your family
- Temporary residential resources for sick people and/or their families
- Fight against poverty and social exclusion
- Social and educational development of children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability and of their families
- Social inclusion of people at risk of poverty and exclusion
- Psychosocial care for people in a situation of addiction or violence, especially the gender violence
- Temporary residential resources for young people and adults in the process of social inclusion
- Accompanying people in the context of insertion companies and special centers of employment
- Interculturality and social action
- Community processes that promote respect and community values
- Diversity management and community mediation
- Education and prevention of behaviors related to addictions and violence
Funding Information
- Projects submitted to this call may apply for grants for an amount of up to 50.000€.
- The amount requested must be linked to the execution of a project with duration of up to 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following types of institutions can apply for the call:
- Non-profit organizations.
- Social economy institutions that specifically state in their Articles of Association that their main goal is the betterment of society or social cohesion, among other purposes.
- The public authorities cannot apply for this call.
- These organizations must be recorded in the corresponding administrative Register and be domiciled in this Autonomous Community.
