The District of Columbia’s Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs (MOLA) is soliciting grant applications for its FY 2023 Latino Community Development Grant from qualified Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) providing direct services to the District’s Latino community.
In FY 2023, the Latino Community Development Grant will fund programs with demonstrated ties to Mayor Bowser’s priority budget areas and community needs in the following program areas: economic and workforce development, youth engagement and education, health education, linkage to human services, promotion of the arts and humanities, and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and corresponding public health emergency.

Funding Information
The $1.5 million Latino Community Development Grant will support CBOs with a current and valid 501(c)(3) status located in the District of Columbia with a one-time grant of up to $50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations that meet the following eligibility requirements at the time of application may apply:
- Be a Community-Based Organization (CBO) with a Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status or evidence of fiscal agent relationship with a 501 (c)(3) organization;
- The organization or program serves the District’s Latino residents or business owners;
- The organization’s principal place of business is located in the District of Columbia;
- All services and programming to receive funds must be provided in the District of Columbia;
- The organization is currently registered in good standing with the DC Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs, Corporation Division, and the Office of Tax and Revenue;
- Current grantees must be current on any reporting obligations for the FY22 grant cycle and progress towards deliverables will be considered.
