Funding Information
- The proposal duration is for one and a half years, with a minimum of EUR 10,000 to a maximum amount of EUR 100,000 per year.
- The total available amount under this call is €1,218,232 million Euro.
Geographical Scope: Within the Love Alliance, Aidsfonds is responsible for participatory grantmaking in the Southern African region, limited to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible to apply under this grant, your organisation has to meet the following criteria:
- Your organisation is led by members of the following communities: sex workers, LGBTQI+ people, people who use drugs, including young key populations and people living with HIV.
- Your organisation is a not-for-profit organisation engaged in HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights advocacy in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, or South Africa.
- Your organisation has been doing this work for at least two years already.
- Your organisation is registered. If your organisation is not registered, you can find a fiscal hosting organisation to support you with the grant. For example, the national network of people living with HIV, harm reduction programmes, or other network organisations.
- You may also apply as a group of community-led organisations together in a consortium. This can include harm reduction programmes, universities and other community based organisations. In this case you apply with one registered lead organisation and at least one community-led organisation in the consortium.
