The Auckland Council is accepting applications for its Albert-Eden Quick Response Grant Programme.
Funding priorities
They welcome grant applications that align to the following priorities:
- People are resilient and can adapt to change.
- People are included, interconnected and celebrate their diversity.
- Māori cultural heritage is valued and protected.
- Neighbourhoods have a strong sense of identity and create a connection to place.
- Their environment is protected and restored.
- Their community has sustainable lifestyles and takes climate action.
- Their local economy is growing and provides stable employment options.
- Town centres are attractive destinations.
- Their people can live healthy active lifestyles.
- Their parks and open space meet the needs of growing populations and diverse communities.
- Their community services and buildings provide diverse and inclusive spaces that meet the changing needs of their community.

Amount: $500 – $3000

- Neighbourhoods that reflect and value our heritage and unique identity now and into the future.
- High-quality natural environments and sustainable lifestyles. A strong local economy with thriving town centres.
- Parks and community facilities meet a wide range of needs.
- Safe, easy and sustainable options for moving around.
Eligibility Criteria
- community organisations with a formal legal structure
- groups or individuals with no formal legal structure can apply for up to $1,000 (Kaipatiki Local Board will not fund individuals)
- applicants seeking funding over $1,000 will need to nominate an umbrella organisation or
- receive funding retrospectively.
