The Roscommon County is pleased to announce American Rescue Plan Grant Opportunity that aims to address systematic social, emotional and economic challenges that have impacted Roscommon County as a result of the pandemic.
Over $3 million dollars has been allocated for projects that support Childcare and Early Learning, Economic Development and/or Human Services and Mental Health.
Funding Information
- $650,000 is currently available for allocation
- $2.35 million in funding will be dispersed in mid-2022
Eligible Projects
- Proposed grant projects must address a need or negative impact of the COVID-19 health emergency and support one of the focus areas identified.
- Projects must address a specific need and will require quarterly data and record-keeping submissions to the county. Funding must be obligated by December 2024.

Eligible proposals will be presented to the Roscommon County Board of Commissioners in October for funding consideration.
Ineligible Uses
- Replacement of lost revenues
- General Infrastructure
- General economic development
Proposals must be for a specific project that is contained within 2021-2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Non-profit, service and governmental agencies located and operating within Roscommon County are encouraged to apply with proposals designed to address systematic social, emotional and economic challenges that have impacted Roscommon County as a result of the pandemic.
