Applications are now open for the Prince George’s County Community Partnership Grant to grow pride and sustainability in their Prince George’s County community by improving the quality of life for their citizens and residents.
They believe that the nonprofit community is an integral part of their economic and social ecosystem, and are thereby committed to fostering an environment that reflects the Administration’s guiding principles of Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration and Solutions.
The Community Partnership Grant (CPG) program is the main discretionary grant initiative offered by the Office of the County Executive to qualified nonprofit organizations based upon a set of criteria, including the value added to the identified community, overall program costs, organizational stability and adequacy of other funding sources.
Funding Information
- The County Executive’s FY 2022 approved budget contains approximately $1.6 million for competitive grants to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations based in or providing services in Prince George’s County.
- The Office of the County Executive has made approximately $1.6 million in funding available to eligible non-profits through the FY 2022 CPG Program. Maximum award amounts will not exceed $100,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any organization, institution or association that is incorporated as a non-profit organization designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has been operating for at least 2 years as of the application deadline, that provides services or activities in Prince George’s County, and that can supply sufficient documentation their organization is currently in “good standing” from the State where the organization was incorporated (i.e., the State of Maryland, District of Columbia or the Commonwealth of Virginia), is eligible to apply.
- All award recipients are expected to:
- Administer the funds in compliance with the submitted proposal.
- Use funds solely for Prince George’s County residents and the documented activities as outlined in the proposal request.
- Conform to the program guidelines, programmatic evaluation and financial reporting requirements, site monitoring visits, and any other conditions/restrictions imposed by the County in connection with the grant award.
- Promote that you are a County Community Partnership Grant recipient on your website and social media.
- Any organization, institution or association that is incorporated as a non-profit organization designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Organization has been operating for at least 2 years as of the application deadline.
- Organizations that provide services or activities in Prince George’s County.
- Organizations must be able to supply sufficient documentation that their organization is currently in “good standing” from the State where the organization was incorporated (i.e., the State of Maryland, District of Columbia or the Commonwealth of Virginia).
