Applications are now open for the 2025 cycle of the Gender Equality Fund, implemented in collaboration with Bir Adım Var Foundation and Turkey Mozaik Foundation.
Supported by both individual and corporate donors, this fund is designed to support the projects and capacity-building efforts of NGOs working in the field of gender equality in Türkiye.
Projects applying for this fund are expected to focus on at least one of several key areas that strengthen gender equality.
These include the creation or maintenance of local solidarity networks and safe spaces, integrating gender perspectives into issues such as poverty, disaster, disability, migration, and ecology, and supporting advocacy work on gender equality.
The fund also encourages the production and dissemination of feminist data and knowledge. In addition, initiatives that prioritize the capacity development and well-being of NGOs working on gender issues will receive special attention.
Priority will be given to projects such as women’s counseling centers, gender-sensitive disaster response, advocacy targeting law or policy changes, creative campaigns promoting gender rights, and training or supervision programs to support frontline staff and volunteers.
The total funding available under the Gender Equality Fund for 2025 is 2,000,000 TL. Eligible organizations may apply for a maximum of 1,000,000 TL, with implementation periods ranging from 6 to 12 months.
To be eligible, applicants must be legally established in Türkiye as associations, foundations, non-profit cooperatives, unions, foundation university research centers, or federations/confederations.
They must also be actively working on gender equality and have had annual revenues between 100,000 TL and 10,000,000 TL in 2024.
