Applications are now open for the Mini-Grant Program to offer artists, nonprofits, and municipalities in Cumberland County an opportunity to receive funding for smaller projects.
Funding Information
Mini Grant awards will not exceed $2,000.00.
What Projects, Activities, and Events ARE Eligible?
- Arts, culture, and history projects, activities, or events that take place in Cumberland County.
- Projects, activities, or events that are open to the public and may or may not have a fee.
- Projects, activities, or events that take place within 6 months of the Mini Grant award.
- Virtual/online projects with artists whose primary residence is Cumberland County.
Eligibility Criteria

Artist/Group of Unincorporated Artists
- An individual artist may apply for a Mini Grant. The artist applicant must submit their resume with the application.
- An individual artist must reside in Cumberland County.
- A group of unincorporated artists may apply for a Mini Grant. One artist should apply as the Lead Artist and submit their resume with the application. Other participating artists should be submitted by name and discipline on a separate list.
- Each artist in the group must be a resident of Cumberland County.
- The project must take place in Cumberland County.

Nonprofit Organizations
- 501(c) nonprofit organizations may apply for a Mini Grant.
- The organization must not have any overdue or back taxes.
- The organization must have an up-to-date Charitable Solicitation License registered through the Office of the NC Secretary of State.

Municipalities
- Local municipalities may apply for a Mini Grant.
- Municipalities include: City of Fayetteville, Town of Eastover, Town of Falcon, Town of Godwin, Town of Hope Mills, Town of Linden, Town of Spring Lake, Town of Stedman, and Town of Wade.
