The Acción Cultural Española AC/E is seeking applications for the Program Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE).
Objectives
- The purpose of this call is the international dissemination of Spanish culture through of the presence in Spain of international prescribers and professionals from the cultural sector. This aim is specified in the following specific objectives:
- Make visible the richness and artistic quality of contemporary emerging Spanish creation in the outside.
- Consolidate and expand the presence of emerging creators, nationals or residents in Spain, in the international arena and favor their promotion and contracting.
- Promote and facilitate connectivity and solid and permanent relationships with international entities that increase the visibility of Spanish art and culture abroad.
- Commit to the fulfillment of the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and, in particular, with regard to gender equality, reduction of inequalities, sustainability and action because of the weather.
- Promote actions in countries of strategic interest for AC/E.
- Pursue the excellence of the Program betting on the prestige of the receiving institutions, the quality of the projects and the coherence between them and the economic cost that they suppose.
Funding Information
- The candidate entity may submit its application in accordance with the following budget limits:
- The entity may request up to a maximum of 20,000 euros per annual call, event and area.
- Within the limits of the previous point, the entity may request up to a maximum of 2,000 euros per international visitor.
- The 2023 annual general call for the Visitors Program is endowed with a maximum budget of 800,000 euros. The distribution between the different thematic areas of the call is detailed:
- Architecture and design: 75,000 euros
- Visual arts – 125,000 euros
- Cinema – 125,000 euros
- Dance and circus – 75,000 euros
- Literature and book – 125,000 euros
- Music – 125,000 euros
- Theater – 75,000 euros
- Video game and animation – 75,000 euros
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications for international professionals and prescribers to participate in events Form and deadline for submitting applications national programs supported by PICE-Visitants may only be requested by public or private Spanish cultural entities and institutions, legally and fiscally constituted in Spain and with the capacity to issue commercial invoicing.
- These institutions will belong to the field of architecture and design, visual arts, cinema, dance and circus, literature and books, music, theater or video games and animation. Proposals from other areas will not be accepted, nor will they come from other types of institutions or individuals
- Applicant entities must provide in their application a document that certifies:
- Its legal nature,
- The organization of the activity for which the benefit is requested,
- The formal request for the economic incentive,
- If there are other institutions that co-participate in the organization of the event.
- This call excludes from its field of action events related to the presence in seminars, conferences, meetings and specifically academic meetings.
- Applicant entities must complete the form published on the AC/E website to participate in the specific call for the Visitor Program.
