Applications are now open for Zac’s Fund to support children and young people, aged up to and including 21 years of age with a cancer diagnosis across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.
Funding can be awarded to individuals or families who have a diagnosis of cancer and are in need of support. Funding may also be awarded to support their treatment, where it cannot otherwise be obtained free of charge, but also, at the discretion of the awardees, on any related expenses, including, but not limited to, respite, travel expenses, educational catch up, gifts, special outings and end-of-life palliative care.
Funding Information
- The funding pot for this round is £12,000 and whilst there is no limit set on individual grants, they would like to help as many organizations as possible.
Eligibility Criteria
- The fund will primarily benefit people based in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. Applications from outside of Shropshire may be made at the discretion of the awardees.
- The grants are open to both individuals, families and organisations that offer support children and young people aged up to and including 21 years of age.
- Awards for organisations may be for an amount that is commensurate with the project and scope of work they will be undertaking.
