Applicants are now invited to submit applications for DWF Foundation Grant Programme.

Focus Areas

• The DWF Foundation supports registered charities with an impact in one or more of the following areas:
  • Homelessness
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Employability
  • Education
  • Environment and Sustainability
• Grants are given to initiatives that develop and improve local communities by:
  • Tackling a specific community issue.
  • Helping voluntary and community groups become more effective and efficient.
  • Encouraging the involvement in the community of those too often excluded.
  • Enabling young people to develop skills for the benefit of the community.

Funding Information

• The Foundation does not have a minimum grant size but the majority of the grants will fall under £5,000.

Who can apply?

• Location in which DWF Foundation welcomes applications from countries in which DWF has a presence.
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • India
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Poland
  • Qatar
  • Spain
  • United Arab Emirates
  • United Kingdom 
  • United States
• DWF also has associations with other law firms in the countries below but DWF Foundation do not currently fund in these locations; 
  • Singapore
  • South Africa
  • Turkey
• The DWF Foundation will welcome applications from registered charites only. Applications are welcome from charities working in countries in which there is a DWF presence.

Ineligibility Criteria

• They are not able to fund the following areas of work:
  • Academic research 
  • Activities for which a statutory body is responsible 
  • Activity taking place in school time that are a statutory responsibility. 
  • Animal welfare 
  • Evaluation which is not related to the funded work 
  • Every day running costs and core salaries
