Deadline: 05-Feb-2024
The Feminist Fund is pleased to announce the MiniGrants for informal groups and feminist organizations.
The Feminist Fund’s MiniGrant funds can be used for any feminist activities. Importantly, the applicants of each edition of the program decide on who the money will go to. Therefore, applying for this grant means participating in the selection of other ideas.
Fund Priorities
- They would especially like to encourage and invite groups and organizations that:
- focus on women and non-cis male people who, for various reasons, are particularly exposed to discrimination (e.g. women with disabilities, non-heterosexual women, young women, women living in rural areas and smaller towns, economically excluded women, women from ethnic minorities, non-binary people, intersex people, transgender people)
- self-organize, act on their own behalf, undertake grassroots local activities within their community,
- develop the local feminist movement outside the largest urban centers (Łódź, Kraków, Poznań, Tricity, Warsaw, Wrocław),
- make decisions collectively, discussing and jointly developing their position; are not based on single-person leadership,
- conduct non-standard activities and propose new approaches to solving problems.
Funding information
- You can apply for MiniGrants with a maximum budget of PLN 5,300 to be used from April 10 to October 31, 2024.
What groups do they support?
- FemFund grantees can be a variety of initiatives that identify with the feminist movement and work for the rights of women, queer, non-binary, intersex and/or transgender people in various places in Poland.
- It is important for them to support groups/organizations associating and acting for people particularly exposed to discrimination.
- They do not support groups/organizations that undermine the rights of some women, girls and/or the rights of queer, non-binary, intersex and transgender people because of who they are, the work they do or their position in society.
- They would especially like to encourage groups operating on the principles of self-organization, which make decisions by discussing them together, to participate in MiniGrants.
- They invite groups and organizations active within a specific local community and outside large urban centers (Łódź, Kraków, Poznań, Tricity, Warsaw, Wrocław).
- Conducting non-standard feminist activities and a new approach to solving various problems are an additional advantage.

- The following people can apply for a MiniGrant:
- informal groups and collectives of at least 3 people,
