The Direct Aid Program (DAP) is a small-grants scheme managed by Australian overseas posts that aims to support non-profit organizations working in local communities on activities that support sustainable and inclusive development.
In the current round, the priority areas determined by the High Commission are governance/human rights, environmental sustainability and health.
DAP activities are primarily aimed at achieving practical and tangible outcomes of high development impact. DAP is able to fund activities that have a direct, practical and immediate impact.
