Eligibility Criteria
- This programme is open to voluntary, charitable and community groups based and working in Bath and North East Somerset where a substantial proportion of service users are people who feel they have a mental health or wellbeing need. Priority will be given to work that links to activities that are/could be part of a social prescribing package and that helps service users benefit from these activities.
- Groups without constitutions/relevant bank account/management committee will not be funded directly but could ask another organisation to apply on their behalf.
- You can apply for a grant towards work where there are currently gaps in provision of communitybased activities (in Bath and North East Somerset) that improve mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Ideally, they are looking for applications for projects or activities that:
- Link to or could form part of a social prescribing package
- Improve and promote the mental and physical health and wellbeing of local people
- Focus on reducing social isolation and loneliness, prevention, and building community capacity
- Will be delivered in a way that will build relationships, reduce isolation, help people to be more involved in their local community and support each other
- Will become self-sustaining
- They are unlikely to support applications for service changes resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.
