The Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO) is seeking applications to provide funding up to £2,500 to maintain or increase support for vulnerable individuals and communities affected by Covid-19.
The purpose of this small grant is to maintain or increase voluntary/community services to support vulnerable individuals and communities affected by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic
Funding Information
- Grant funding is up to £2,500 for smaller capital items only and beneficiaries must include any of the following groups:
- older people;
- carers, including young carers;
- people with learning disabilities and children with complex needs.
- Funding requests must fit with the overall ICF Grant criteria which is targeted at the following beneficiary groups:
- older people including those with dementia;
- children with complex needs;
- people with learning disabilities and carers.
This funding can be utilised by third sector registered charities and not for profit constituted groups who serve the target group/s and who need to adapt and change to address the increasing demands brought on by the COVID 19 pandemic.
Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible to apply if you are:
- Third/voluntary sector (not-for-profit) organization and is independent of government, private and public sectors;
- Registered charity;
- Constituted group;
- Any other legally constituted body, e.g. CIC, CIO set up for public benefit and governed by a Board;
- This funding is for activities/ services/ communities in Bridgend County Borough;
- Your organization has its own bank account or an account in the name of the ‘Trustees of [name of organization]’ with at least 2 signatories.
