The Bell Bay Aluminium (BBA) annually offers grants of up to $3000 for community organisations based in Tasmania to help fund projects across the state that will have a significant positive impact on local communities.
The annual Community Grants Program aims to provide financial support to organisations that positively support the Tasmanian community in key social, environmental and economic focus areas. Identification of key focus areas ensures that funds have an impact where needed most.

- Supports preservation of native flora and fauna,

- Supports the circular economy.

Inclusion & Diversity
- Reducing inequality,
- Increasing community participation amongst diverse groups,
- Increasing gender diversity

Culture & Heritage
- Supports the promotion, respect and education of the culture and history of palawa populations,
- Supports the promotion, preservation and education of culturally and historically significant artefacts, architecture, events, locations.

- Improved health and wellbeing of community members,
- Improved community health outcomes,
- Mental health initiatives and mental health awareness in the community

- Improving economic indicators in the community,
- Skills development for the community’s future needs,

Funding Information
- Grants are available up to a maximum value of $3,000 each.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant organisation and the project must be based in Tasmania, align with BBA’s values and objectives and align with one or more of the key funding focus areas.
