The Bishop Stamer Fund is now open for applications to enhance the provision of service and to help make organisations more efficient or to improve the scope of their provision. This might include extending provision to older people, or providing facilities that make the use of a building easier.
These grants will be awarded to organizations that provide facilities or services for older people, (with a preference towards the elderly and infirm).
Aims
Your project must meet one of the following criteria:
- Increase or enhance your current service provision
- Make your organization more efficient, more sustainable or more resilient
- Be use d to improve facilities for your service users
Beneficiaries they can support
Preference will be given to applications working in one of the following fields:
- Old People
- Disa bled People
Funding Information
You can apply for a grant of up to £10,000
Geographic reach they will fund
They will support organizations based in, or working for the benefit of people in the following local authority areas:
- Stoke-on-Trent
- Newcastle-under-Lyme
- Staffordshire Moorlands
- Part of Sta fford Borough, but only those areas north of Stone
Criteria
They will support the following types of organization:
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- Status Agency
The Bishop Stamer Fund is available to community groups, voluntary groups and in some cases statutory agencies.
