Blaby District Council is pleased to announce the Coronavirus Recovery – Special Grant Program.
In light of the Coronavirus pandemic and after speaking to local voluntary sector organisations they have made some changes to this year’s programme. They are making a larger amount of funding available in the first round and they will prioritise projects that address needs that have arisen directly from the pandemic.
Funding Information
- In these cases they are also increasing small capital and revenue grants to £1000 and introducing a more flexible approach to project costs to support organisations that have lost income during this time.
Eligibility Criteria
The grants scheme is open to applications from a range of VCS organisations:
- Community groups, youth clubs and sports clubs
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises (such as Community Interest Companies)
- Schools, Academies and PTA/fundraising groups for extra-curricular activities or projects only
- Religious or faith based organisations for non-religious projects open to all irrespective of faith
- Parish and Town Councils
