The Australian Embassy in Ethiopia is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2021 Small Grants Program to individuals and organisations in Ethiopia, South Sudan, Central African Republic and Djibouti and organisations that support IGAD and the African Union.
The Australian Embassy’s small grants program has helped many grassroots organisations make a real difference in their communities.
The Embassy is looking for small and large projects with a clear vision and outcomes that will make a tangible difference in the community.
Funding Information
- There is no minimum amount that a project can receive. A project may be funded up to the maximum of AUD20,000 (approximately USD15,000).
Target Areas
- Women’s empowerment and gender equality
- Healthcare, including mental health
- Disability inclusion
- Climate change, environmental sustainability and agriculture
- Humanitarian response and peace building
- Good governance, human rights and civil liberties
