The Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia is inviting applications for the projects promoting equal rights for women and girls.
Equal rights for women and girls means:
- Prevention of violence against women and girls in public and private life,
- Strengthened voices of women, agency, leadership and representative participation in decision-making processes in public, private and civic sphere,
- Reinforced economic rights and empowerment of women and female entrepreneurship encouraged (excluding grants for the start-up businesses),
- Rights of women and girls protected in crisis and conflict situations and women’s meaningful participation of women and leadership in peace– and state-building promoted.
Funding Information
- Budget should be realistic, €60,000 maximum.
Eligibility Criteria
- This call is open to independent civil society organizations, research institutions and individuals, preferably based and operating in Armenia.
- The concept notes should be in line with the required format, must have feasible, realistic goals and defined results and activities.
Assessment Process
- The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia will be paying special attention to the following elements of the submitted concept notes:
- The proposed activity falls under one of the priorities mentioned above;
- Innovative, unique and original approach;
- Added value of the intervention – to what extend the targeted issues is addressed in Armenia and the benefits the proposed project will add to it;
- Realistic impact of the intervention;
- Sustainability of the project after the end of the funding;
- Good track record of the implementing organization and relevance to the topic;
- Projects implemented in the regions of Armenia and with a larger group of beneficiaries will be prioritized.
