Expected Results
- The proposal under this Call for Expression of Interest should be comprehensive, inclusive, and aligned with the objectives of the DFF3 project, particularly the Community of Volunteers component.
- The program proposed by the CSO should present a structured and inclusive approach to mobilizing and engaging young volunteers from the 10 target communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It should clearly define strategies for volunteer outreach, training, mentorship, and participation in broader community and project-based activities.
- The proposal must include a detailed methodology for selecting and equipping adolescents with active citizenship skills including participation, empathy, respect for diversity, with a strong emphasis on gender equality, diversity and inclusion. The selected CSO will be responsible for mobilizing and establishing a network of over 100 youth volunteers (ensuring at least 50% are young women) from the 10 targeted local communities.
- The CSO should design and implement a robust volunteer engagement model, including capacity-building activities focused on active citizenship. Volunteers should be actively engaged in Local Dialogue Platforms (LDPs), contributing to local decision-making processes and fostering inclusive civic participation. The CSO will support youth volunteers in planning, implementing but also participating or supporting grassroots volunteer actions across communities in three main areas: education, culture and environment.
- All actions should promote themes of environmental protection, gender equality and cultural diversity, as well as contributing to building positive narratives and social cohesion.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applying CSO must:
- be legally registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina not be an entity named on any of the UN Security Council targeted sanction lists have a proven track record in working with youth, youth engagement, peacebuilding, or social cohesion projects demonstrate experience in working with schools, students and educational institutions, and have the technical and organizational capacity to implement the described activities
Exclusion Criteria
- CSO submission which:
- are not submitted before the specified deadline
- do not include all required documents duly completed or do not comply with specifications set in this Call for Expression of Interest
- are not submitted in English will be excluded from the selection process.
