The UNICEF Office in Botswana is seeking to engage reputable CSOs for the implementation of programmes to ensure that the rights of children and adolescents to survival, development, protection, and participation – particularly of the most vulnerable – are realized through access to quality gender-responsive social services and the adoption of healthy and protective behaviours, and by promoting active participation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only those organizations that have a track record in providing services on young child survival, development and learning, adolescent and young people’s well-being, learning and participation should submit their proposals.
- Applications must be submitted in English language. Submissions will be assessed by UNICEF to identify CSOs that have the mandate, expertise and comparative advantage to implement programmes related to UNICEF mandate.
- It should be noted however that participation in this Expression of Interest does not guarantee the CSO will be ultimately selected for partnership with UNICEF.
- Selected CSOs will be invited to work collaboratively with UNICEF on a Joint partnership agreeemnt and funding proposals in accordance with programme criteria and applicable policy and procedures on UNICEF partnership with CSOs including programme, financial and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) risk assessments.
