Deadline: 13-Sep-22
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the open call for Youth Engagement for Environment and Climate Change.
The intervention of this call for expression of interest aims to increase awareness around the levels of air pollution, waste and water management and its harmful effects on health and wellbeing among children and youth in North Macedonia by empowering and mobilizing youth to advocate for solutions in their communities and organize actions that influence behaviour change among citizens and the general population. The creation of spaces and opportunities for children and young people to increase their knowledge and skills to speak up based on evidence for environmental and climate action is of utmost importance for the programme.
The program aims to boost youth participation in the area of environmental protection and enhance the utilization of digital tools for influencing local policies, budgets and programs, including youth and citizens behaviors and habits towards environmentally friendly lifestyles.
