Do you have an innovative educational project to realize or do you want to expand the coding activities already planned for the next Code Week? The Code4Europe consortium has launched the “Coding Education Grants”, a new opportunity designed to support innovative ideas proposed by teachers, schools, associations and other educational organizations, capable of effectively enhancing the priorities of the EU Code Week.
The aim of this call is to identify and support bottom-up initiatives that address coding and aim to generate an impact aligned with the mission of EU Code Week: enhancing the digital skills of young people, especially girls.
Objectives
- The main objectives include:
- enable the development of innovative and scalable coding activities;
- support initiatives that integrate programming into educational contexts and promote the involvement of students, teachers, and parents;
- encourage the involvement of the educational community and promote collaboration between stakeholders in educational processes;
- prioritize projects that bridge the gender gap and promote diversity in STEM education.
Funding Information
- The overall budget of the Italian Coding Education Grants has a total budget of €5,000, which will be distributed to the selected applications through individual grants between €500 and €1,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible candidates for nomination are:
- Schools (nursery, primary, lower and upper secondary schools);
- Libraries and similar institutional bodies;
