The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Kosovo is pleased to announce a procedure for acceptance and selection of project proposals to be implemented with grants within the official development assistance of the Republic of Bulgaria 2023.
Objectives
- To provide inclusive and quality education;
- To support the provision of universal health coverage and access to quality health services;
- To protect human rights and the rights of minorities;
- Build capacity to support security and strengthen the rule of law.
Funding Information
- The minimum allowable value of a project is BGN 5,000.
- The recommended maximum value of a project is:
- For projects whose main purpose is the supply of goods and/or provision of services – up to BGN 70,000?
- For projects whose main purpose is to carry out repair and / or construction activities – up to 70,000 BGN.
Activities that can be funded
- Development of new / modernization of existing training modules;
- Organizing and conducting trainings for the employees of the administration of the partner country;
- Conducting trainings on specific topics in Bulgarian institutions for exchange of good practices and raising the qualification of the employees of the administration of the partner country;
- Organizing and conducting seminars, forums, conferences;
- Development of research and strategies;
- Awareness raising activities for citizens’ rights;
- Activities to promote multicultural dialogue and to reduce racism, xenophobia, hate speech, discrimination and intolerance in society;
- Activities to improve the dialogue between NGOs and local, regional and national authorities.
- Activities related to improving the quality of infrastructure in the respective field and increasing the potential of the sites through supply of equipment and materials, construction works, restoration, renovation, rehabilitation, measures for preservation and improvement of adjacent buildings and infrastructure, public buildings and other ancillary sites, for example:
- Delivery of equipment and materials intended for state or municipal property – schools, hospitals, kindergartens, nursing homes, etc.
- Construction works for the improvement of state or municipal property – schools, hospitals, kindergartens, old people’s homes, etc.

- Improving socio-economic development and good governance leading to sustainable and inclusive economic development;
- Reducing poverty and increasing prosperity;
- Deepening the interaction between the institutions at central, regional and local level;
- Establishing the good name and international prestige of Bulgaria.
