The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia is pleased to launch its annual call for proposals for the Local Small-Scale Projects.
Local Small-Scale Projects are an integral part of the Development Cooperation of the Czech Republic in Georgia and they are implemented every year through grants´ program managed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi.
Focus
- Recommended projects´ scope of focus:
- Support of rural development – support of community development and broader civil engagement; local civic initiative with a broader impact on community, youth-oriented activities;
- Support to vulnerable groups- support to vulnerable families and communities, minority groups, people with disabilities;
- Strengthening of the climate resilience with a focus on mountainous regions.
- The projects should also involve:
- regions and remote areas;
- EU/Czech experience sharing and know-how is desirable;
- sustainability.
Funding Information
- Overall project budget must be within 200 000 – 500 000 CZK (approximate exchange rate 1 GEL: 8,5 CZK);
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a legal entity registered in Georgia, whose basic activity is not profit making;
- Eligible are educational, health, social-protection organizations, CSOs and associations. Political parties or central public institutions are not eligible;
- The applicant may submit only one proposal;
- Total sum of personal and travel expenses must not exceed 25 % of the total cost;
- Implementation of the project activities March 2025 – October 2025.
