The American Spaces Morocco aims to continue delivering impactful programs that promote American excellence and encourage the best and brightest young Moroccans, ages 18 to 30, to increase their engagement with America.
Goals and Objectives
- Enhancing English Language Learning: Implement a comprehensive English Language Learning (ELL) program designed to empower individuals to acquire and improve their English language learning. Programming will foster an immersive learning environment, address the linguistic needs of participants and promote a greater understanding and appreciation for American culture.
- Creative Economy: Foster deeper connections between American and Moroccan creative professionals with the end goal of increased demand for U.S. expertise, products, services, and educational opportunities based in America’s creative economic ecosystem.
- Digital Transformation Empowerment: Provide individuals and small businesses with firsthand knowledge of the positive impact of American technology on the global digital landscape. Provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to navigate Morocco’s digital transformation while fostering innovation and economic growth.
- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Programming: Create innovative STEAM programs to encourage the best and brightest of Moroccan youth to engage more frequently with Morocco’s American Spaces and consider higher education opportunities in the United States.

- Total available funding $ 123,000.00
- Award amounts Awards may range from a minimum of $ 40,000 to a maximum of $120,000 (approximately)
Duration
- Length of performance period is Eight to ten months.
Eligibility Criteria
- The U.S. Mission encourages applications from Moroccan citizens and/or organizations, including:
- Registered public or private non-profit organizations, such as think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations.
- Public or private non-profit educational institutions
- Public or private non-profit cultural institutions
- Individuals
- While U.S. NGOs and individuals may apply, preference is given to Moroccan NGOs or to partnerships that develop capacity with Moroccan NGOs.
