The Center for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship “Globus”, as the implementer of the project “Agenda for Social Entrepreneurship”, which is financially supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announces a public call for proposals for projects aimed at developing social entrepreneurship.
The goal of the call / Fund is the development of social enterprises and other social entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at increasing social inclusion in BiH.
The funds of the Social Entrepreneurship Fund will be used to strengthen existing and develop new social-entrepreneurial ventures aimed at reducing social exclusion in BiH, with special emphasis on the employment of persons with disabilities and/or young people, and implementation of the Social Entrepreneurship Agenda in accordance with defined frameworks. from CDP “Globus.”
The four key focuses:
- Recognizing real needs and presenting opportunities for social development entrepreneurship;
- Strengthening the capacity of members of the Coalition for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship “United they can do more ”and other organizations in the process of advocating for social development entrepreneurship;
- Employment of socially excluded persons in social enterprises;
- Affirmation of the concept of social entrepreneurship throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Funding Information
- The total amount of funds within the Social Entrepreneurship Fund is 60,000.00 KM.
- The maximum amount of funds per individual project is 12,000.00 KM.
Eligibility Criteria
The following may apply for the allocation of funds from the Social Entrepreneurship Fund:
- legal entities registered in BiH, as follows:
- citizens’ associations,
- cooperatives,
- companies,
- which, by performing activities, contribute to the improvement of employment and social opportunities inclusion of persons with disabilities and/or youth and realized income/surplus income over expenditures in whole or in part reinvest in achieving the social goals that are in regarding the improvement of social inclusion in BiH.
- natural persons from target groups: young people and persons with disabilities – entrepreneurs registered in BiH and unemployed persons – founders of a shop/craft or other forms of entrepreneurship if the founder establishes an employment relationship or plans to maintain employment through a project.
