The City of Hilliard has announced a call for applications for the CARES Act Funds For Local Non-Profit Grants Program.
The CARES Act funds were provided to the City of Hilliard through State House Bill 614. Funds will be used to distribute grants to local non-profits that provide health and human/social services to Hilliard residents.
Funding Information
- Up to $150,000 grants available for CARES Act Funds.
Grant Categories
- Category 1: REVENUE LOSSES
- Unforeseen losses of revenue:
- As caused by, or in response to, the COVID-19 public health emergency;
- From March 1, 2020, through December 4, 2020;
- Revenue means: income coming into the agency for operations and programming.
- Unforeseen losses of revenue:
- Category 2: INCREASED OR NEW EXPENSES
- This category includes increased or new expenses as caused by, or in response to, the COVID-19 public health emergency from March 1, 2020, through December 4, 2020
- Types of expenses include:
- Unforeseen and unbudgeted agency business expenses;
- Unforeseen expenses for residents to access basic needs and resource supports;
- Increased or new expenses to obtain goods and services.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that:
- Provides health and/or human/social services;
- Serves City of Hilliard residents;
- Is in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS);
- Is in compliance with the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
