The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) is seeking applications for its Carthage Affiliate Grantmaking Program Fall 2021.
Focus Areas
The areas of funding include:
- Health & Human Services,
- Education & Youth Services,
- Arts, Culture, History & Community Beautification, and
- Food & Nutrition.
Funding Information
- Total amount one applicant can request is $2,500.00.
Guidelines
- CCF has an interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs.
- Applicant needs to select one area of funding, and can only apply once.
- CCF prefers to provide grants for one-time initiatives & capital/equipment purchases; however, the board will also consider operating expenses if a strong case is made for special circumstances due to ongoing Covid impact.
- Please highlight your service area/numbers served in the Carthage community, as well as provide annual & project budgets
- Maximum amount one applicant can request is $2,500.00
- Fall Grants Presentation Luncheon on October 21
- Complete the Application form online, choosing the appropriate category for your proposal.
- All requests must be authorized by the grant-seeking organization’s governing board.
- Grant recipients may be asked to participate in an Evaluation and Monitoring Program established in order to provide information about the outcome and effectiveness of the grant.
Criteria
- In awarding grants, affiliates of the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status.
- Grantees must not, in the use of CFO grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches) serving the Carthage area may make application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Fall 2021 Community Grant Round.
