The American Institute in Taiwan is pleased to launch a call for proposals for Technology-enabled Solutions for Protecting Labor Rights in Taiwan’s Distant-Waters Fishing Industry.
The application of innovative technologies to address the risks of forced labor for foreign and vulnerable crew members and to streamline procedures for marine emergency prevention, notification, and response.

Funding Information
NT$300,000-800,000 R&D grants per team.
Eligibility Criteria
- No restrictions on field of expertise, age or personal identity, any teams composed of 1-4 members can participate.
- At least one team member must be a Taiwan national.
