The United Nations Development Programme is accepting proposals for the Selection of National Youth Civil Society Organizations Program.
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the stabilization and consolidation of the Peace in Burkina Faso.
Objectives and Expected Results
- The objective of this call is to select National Civil Society Organization (CSO) partners young people from Burkina Faso to contribute to stabilization efforts in Liptako-Gourma
- Specific objective(s):
- Identify key actors influential in peacebuilding and stabilization
- Identify and analyze the types of conflicts in the constituency
- Organize platforms for exchanges and reconciliation for stabilization and consolidation of peace
- Propose, based on the identification of needs, the types of capacity building for each Committee for its operationalization (training, activity plan, equipment, etc.)
- Organize Intercommunity Dialogue (ICD) sessions
- Prepare committees for the development and implementation of community initiatives in response to recommendations of the Intercommunity dialogues.
Funding Information
- Bid amounts must represent either a minimum of US$20,000 or US$10,000,000
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Expertise of the Structure in the conduct of community activities in the areas of education and child protection.
- Eligible offers will focus on communities (men/women) in Burkina Faso and will target leaders’ community and religious organizations, local authorities, as well as elected officials, as direct and final beneficiaries.
