The Bloomington Arts Commission (BAC) is seeking applications for the Operational Support Grant Program to foster the arts and cultivate cultural experiences in Bloomington in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding Information
- Eligible organizations can apply for up to 5% of total operating budget (including in-kind operating expenses) for the most recently completed fiscal year.
- The maximum amount an organization can apply for is $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit arts organizations based in Bloomington with 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS.
- Arts as the primary mission.
- An operating history of at least three (3) full years prior to the application deadline.
- Majority of activity takes place in Bloomington, Indiana.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications Will Be Evaluated According To The Following Criteria:
- Organizational Capacity – Does your project have a clear plan and outcomes and a plan to achieve them? Do you have financial resources committed to the project outside of this grant?
- Community Impact – Is your project addressing a community need? Does it engage in larger community dialogues? Do you reach out to or connect with the various communities that exist in Bloomington? Are you partnering with other organizations?
- Equity and inclusion – How does this project employ principles of equity, inclusion, and diversity?
