The City of Santa Clarita is seeking applications for the Homelessness Grant Program to develop innovative solutions to local homeless issues.
To encourage collaboration, creativity, and ultimately have the maximum positive impact on those experiencing homelessness, the City has decided to create mini-grants available to local service providers.
Funding Information
- The City will rate bidders on their ability to meet the selection criteria. Each grant will not exceed the designated amount of $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
All of the following will be filled out in accordance to the following criteria:
- Applicant must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
- Applicant must have a registered work address within the City of Santa Clarita.
Scoring Criteria
- Leveraging of community partners, scope of work, timeline, and program management. (25%)
- Services meet the priorities outlined within the Community Plan Address Homelessness. Services meet the ability to provide additional efficiencies or increased performance capabilities. (25%)
- Breakdown of costs for the proposed program or service. Ability to stretch out funding, or leverage existing resources to serve a greater impact (25%)
- Innovative programming that is easily replicated and will serve as a model for other communities. (25%)
