The Community Foundation is seeking applications for its Rington’s Fund to support charitable organisations working with people experiencing hardship and/or disadvantage.
The Fund is keen to see applications addressing equity, diversity and inclusion. Organisations based and operating within Tyne & Wear and Northumberland
Funding Information
- Grant Range: £750 – £5,000
- There is a preference for the Ringtons Fund to support the entire request rather than contributing to a larger amount.
Will Support
- Activities
- Direct project costs
- Staffing costs and volunteer expenses
- Project resources and equipment
Not Supported
- statutory activities including lessons or curriculum time teaching costs or resources
- foreign travel
- items given for permanent personal use (e.g. clothing; technology)
Addition

In addition to the usual Community Foundation criteria
- the charitable organisation must be based and working within Tyne & Wear and/or Northumberland.
- the project must be able to start within 3 months of receipt of the grant.
- the amount applied for must mean the project can go ahead (not part funding for a larger project).
