The Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru Arts Council of Wales is seeking applications for Connect and Flourish to enable projects that champion the diversity of voices, cultures, and languages in Wales.
Through Connect and Flourish they want to support the development of collaborative proposals between organisations, individuals and creative professionals working together.
They want Connect and Flourish projects to understand and embed the goals set out in their corporate plan, “For the Benefit of All” and demonstrate a clear commitment to the principles of the Welsh Government’s Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (Wales) 2015 and the “Cultural Contract”.
Funding Information
- Connect and Flourish supports the delivery of projects between £500 and £150,000 over a period of up to 24 months.
Eligible Projects
- Projects that mean something and matter to the people that they’re for, and that find real and meaningful ways of getting them involved.
- Projects that are artist-led but audience or participant- focused, embracing the principles of equality and diversity in all that they do, including in their governance, workforce and through the activity that they develop.
- Projects that demonstrate practical and innovative approaches to involving and reflecting the creativity of D/deaf, disabled and neurodiverse people, ethnically and culturally diverse people.
- Projects that empower those individuals and communities experiencing and living in socio-economic inequality.
Eligibility Criteria
- Connect and Flourish seeks to create opportunities for individual artists and creative professionals from all backgrounds to work within partnerships, to discover new ways of working that help arts will emerge and move beyond the challenges of the Covid19 pandemic.
