The European Commission is seeking applications under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) to stimulate and support the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs).
CEF Telecom funding supports projects of common interest that contribute to increasing the interoperability, connectivity and deployment of trans-European digital infrastructures across the EU, improving the daily lives of citizens, businesses and public administrations, and thereby contributing to the development of a Digital Single Market.
Focus Areas
- eInvoicing – to support the uptake of electronic invoicing solutions among public administrations and of the European standard on eInvoicing – €10 million
- eTranslation – to improve the quality and coverage of eTranslation especially in the public sector, thereby facilitating cross-border information exchange – €6 million
- Europeana – to enhance accessibility of digital resources of European heritage – €2 million
- Public Open Data – to achieve a new generation of cross-border and intelligent services for citizens and enterprises, as well as supporting decision-making for public authorities, through the use of High Performance Computers – €6 million
Funding Information
Up to €24 million will be made available to meet the needs of public administrations, businesses and citizens in their cross-border activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested applicants from all EU Member States, as well as Iceland and Norway, may submit their proposals.
