The Coventry Building Society Foundation is offering Small Grants Programme to support projects addressing the local needs in Coventry which will enable the community to be better off through life.
The Coventry Building Society Foundation is managed by the Heart of England Community Foundation. The main purpose of the Coventry Building Society Foundation is “giving our city and our communities the power to be better off through life”.
Aims
Grants will be considered from charities, constituted voluntary and community groups that focus on supporting communities relating to the following:
- Education and Aspiration
- Access to Housing
- Isolation & Vulnerability
Funding Information
Grants of up to £2,000 are available and must be spent within a year.
What will they support?
They Will Fund:
- Groups that have been running for at least 1 year.
- Salary, equipment or volunteer costs that are clearly budgeted and only used for the project evidence will be required.
- All projects must adhere to the most current Government guidelines in relation to Covid 19
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply to this fund if you are one of the following:
- Registered charities
- Constituted Community groups
- Companies Limited by Guarantee with charitable aims
- Community Interest Companies
- Co-operatives – registered Community Benefit Societies and registered Industrial and Provident Societies
- Social Enterprises
- Applications from Mutual Aid groups will be considered – however any such groups will need to work with a constituted group / registered charity who will need to hold the funds on their behalf
Note: Funding to Community Interest Companies and other non-charities may include conditions to restrict funding to charitable objectives only.
