The Cumbria Community Foundation is accpeting applications for the Crofton Trust Fund Grants to Support Community Projects to improve the knowledge of the public about agriculture, forestry and the countryside.
Funded by part of the proceeds of the dissolution of the Crofton Charitable Trust.
Funding Information
There will be no maximum or minimum grant, but the average grant is expected to be £500.
Eligible Activities
Examples of activities supported:
- support for conferences
- contribution towards a lecture series
- field days
- scholarships and bursaries
- support to practical demonstration projects
Eligibility Criteria
Voluntary and community groups are eligible to apply.
What the fund will not support?
- computers
- expeditions
- photocopiers
- promotion of religious doctrine
- vehicle purchase costs
