Deadline: 06-May-2024
Are you an innovative and creative thought leader using art to redefine climate and social justice on the continent? Are you committed to the growth and transformation of Africa? If yes, then apply for We!Are Unmuted Program.
Crtve Development’s Climate Justice Lab, We!Are Unmuted, celebrates the remarkable spirit of Africa in the face of climate change and social injustice. They proudly showcase the ingenuity and resilience of African communities, especially in climate-vulnerable regions. The stories speak directly to their lived experiences, reimagining Africa’s green climate future in fresh, innovative ways. Explore the very best of African resilience and join them in inspiring positive change for a brighter tomorrow.
They launched We!Are Unmuted in 2022, and worked with creative collaborators across the African continent to curate a series of community campaigns aka “Change Moments”. These “Change Moments” tell stories about climate change and injustice through spoken word, art, music, fashion, song, and dance.
The community campaigns were used to raise awareness of the climate justice issues they all face and to educate young people and communities on how to become climate justice advocates.
