The Campaspe Shire Council (CSC) is seeking applications for its Seniors Grants Program to offers financial support to deliver programs or activities to older citizens.
Council is looking to fund innovative projects that effectively address social isolation for seniors while adhering to social distancing requirements issued by the State and Federal Governments.
They are looking to fund innovative projects that effectively address social isolation for seniors while adhering to social distancing requirements outlined by the state and federal government. Examples could include:
- Establishment of social groups on social media
- Equipment to directly support senior programs
- Development of video’s for seniors enjoyment or education
- Support to develop technology skills
- Creation of local stories to share amongst seniors
Funding Information
- The Seniors Program Grants provides donations of up to $1,000 to deliver programs or activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Seniors Program Grants are open to incorporated organisations in the Campaspe Shire with a focus on supporting increased health, wellbeing and social connection among the aged community.
- Events hosted by aged care facilities need to be open to the broader senior’s community and not held exclusively for residents.
- The funds are not available to be used for operational costs (ie. wages or insurance).
