The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting CSOs and Semi-Governmental Organisation to engage under Debris Removal Transportation and Recycling Programme.
The project aims to address and mitigate the severe impacts of the debris crisis in the Gaza Strip as part of an integrated humanitarian response. By implementing a risk-managed approach to debris removal and recycling, the project will help prevent further catastrophic public health and environmental consequences.
Funding Information
- The UNDP foresees three brackets of projects, where the size of the project will be made to match the capacities of the rostered organizations:
- Small-scale: $10,000-49,000
- Medium-scale: $50,000-149,999
- Large-scale: $149,999-500,000 (exceptionally more)
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested organizations must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the capacity assessment process:
- Be operational as a not-for-profit nongovernmental organization in Gaza.
- Be specialised and have a track record of programmes and activities in fields relevant to the Debris Removal Transportation and Recycling programme of UNDP PAPP.
- Be clear of any instance of conflict of interest whether in relation to UNDP or to potential partners or sub-contractors. Applicants must provide a signed ‘no conflict-of-interest statement’ in the form provided.
